"The future of Global Security: Neurodiverse Leaders" created for the 2025 NATO Youth Summit Challenge

An infographic contains a world drawing surrounded by the four key future challenges of global security: hybrid threats, the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, emerging technologies and climate change. Followed by puzzle pieces outlining the key qualities that a leader of the future will need to overcome this challenges: analytical, big-picture, long-term thinker; intellectual humility, integrity, and eagerness to learn, creative and innovative thinker, excellent collaborator and inclusive relationship builder; able to adapt quickly; excellent communicator that inspires trust. This is followed by three concrete actions they will need to take to address key challenges: increasing government resilience, promoting legislative reforms, and increasing global cooperation. This is followed by the question: Why can neurodiverse (ND) people help lead these actions? Neurological differences in the ND brain provide them with abilities essential for addressing these challenges.
